We will complete your project using a sliding scale for rates based on verifiable income. You make a charitable donation based upon the rate less any costs for tangible items. You will receive a tax receipt as per the IRS rules.

We will complete your project customized to fit your budget , whether flat fee, project-based, or hourly. You make a charitable donation based upon the rate less any costs for tangible items. You will receive a tax receipt as per the IRS rules.

How we price your project.

 

 


Itemization:


> Travel: local vs. long distance; tolls? Parking fees?


> Equipment: Is this a simple or complex job?


> Manpower: Is this a 1-person or multi-person job?


> Site: Our studio or on location?

 

 

> Planning time: Is going to the site for pre-planning necessary? How much time to plan the project with you?

 

> Travel time: How long will it take to get there?

 

> Accessibility: Are there stairs, a ramp, elevator, or stage load-in? Does the municipality allow temporary parking during load-in? Is the gear safe from theft while being loaded?

 

> Setup and Breakdown Time: How long to load the equipment, unload on site, setup for the production?

   Then, break it down, load the equipment, and unload/restock gear.

   This includes how many cables, power extension cords, lighting equipment, backdrops

 

> Production Time: How long will the recording or animation take?

 

> Editing Time: How long to edit the video and/or mix the audio?

 

> Rendering Time: How long with the project take to render? Will it tie-up our equipment from other use? Do we need to use our render farm?

 

> Attended or Unattended editing/mixing: Do you want to sit in or not?

 

> Creative control: Will you leave it up to us or do you want to decide?

 

Recalls: Will you be making many revisions to the edit/mix?

 

 

> Intermediate products: Do you require optical media, FTP or online versions for review? These require time and/or cost.


> Session files: Do you require the master session files or the final render/mix?

 

> Archival: How much digital and physical space is required to archive your project? For what time period?

 

> Final product:

Is the product tangible (optical media) or streaming?

Is it live (streaming, sound, or projection) or an in-studio production?

How many copies?

Is there graphics and print media involved?

Is there future marketability for us or you?

As a 501(c)(3) we offer a fee schedule that is less than industry standard rates so as not to violate the IRS commerciality rule.


If you are a qualified client, you will be eligible for these lower than industry standard rates or pro bono work.

Standard Industry-standard hourly Rates:

We make every effort to be compliant with the IRS 501(c)(3) rules and regulations which includes review and oversight by a CPA, SCORE mentor, and attorneys familiar with non-profits.
